Cost centers for Command Center
Tie transaction data to your internal accounting codes with cost center management. Create and edit a list of cost centers, apply a cost center to each transaction while sending, and edit transaction and cost center relationships with ease (ETX-3118).

Streamlined personally known to notary flow
Signers who are personally known to a notary will no longer be required to capture photos of their identification. This aims to reduce friction for personally known signers and better meet customer, notary, and user expectations (NX-5795).

Configure tools for Verify meetings
Customers can now configure tools for Verify meetings, shaping both what is available and what is required to complete the meeting (NX-5593).

Emails for Verify transactions
Verify clients now have lifecycle emails informing them of a new meeting, reminding them to complete their meeting, and confirming completion of a meeting. This improvement in client communication will drive successful completions through greater clarity (NX-5594).

The June 1, 2026 release includes enhancements such as more visible keyboard shortcuts in document preparation UI for business and lender users, a default notary meeting time updated to 9:00 AM for Notarize and Close transactions, renaming "Resend Transaction" to "Remind Signers" without changing functionality, and the introduction of a new Security Events API providing SIEM-friendly user audit trail data for Command Center customers to support security and compliance.
Identity Verification Overview – Proof Help Center
Proof's identity verification for notarizations varies by notary commission state and transaction type, offering four methods: IAL2-compliant verification (credential analysis plus selfie comparison), multi-step verification (combining knowledge-based authentication, credential analysis, and/or selfie comparison), personal knowledge of identity (notary personally knows the signer), and credible identifying witness (a verified witness vouches for the signer).
