2025-09-22 Proof Release Notes

The 2025-09-22 Proof release introduces enhanced Identity tab and report features with failure reasons and downloadable reports, enables Sign Ahead for eSigning before notary meetings on eligible documents, restricts domain users from self-managing transactions via Command Center, and improves video reliability by adding a second WebRTC provider for outage protection and scalability, all generally available to relevant users and organizations.

Enhancements

Improved Identity Tab and Identity Report

The Identity tab and Identity Report now include specific reasons why a recipient may have failed credential analysis. This provides clearer insights to help guide recipients to successfully complete the process.

Downloadable Identity Report

Customers can now download the Identity Report directly from the Transactions page without needing to access each individual transaction.

Sign Ahead

Proof now supports Sign Ahead, allowing signers to eSign documents ahead of the notary meeting for documents not marked as "requires meeting."

Prevent Self-Managed Transactions

Domain users can now be restricted from creating their own, self-managed transactions.

Better Protection from Outages

The reliability of the video experience has been enhanced by scaling a second WebRTC provider. This provides stronger protection against potential outages and greater scalability as usage grows. Proof will manage the rollout and provide proactive communications if there are any changes that affect your experience.

Notaries Can Resize All Annotations on Documents

Notaries can now resize all annotations to better suit the space on the document and ensure compliance of the completed document.
