Enhancements

Additional security for co-located retail transactions

Signers joining from the same device will now be asked to do an additional step of verification. The primary device user will be prompted to enter a pin code to confirm they are with the secondary user, who will receive an email with said pin code (PLAT-6293 & RX-1799).

  • Audience: Retail transactions, co-located multi-signers
  • User roles: N/A
  • Availability: Default change, but does not impact secondary signers with SSO or MFA nor does it impact secondary signers with a brand new account to Proof
  • Release stage: General availability for retail
  • Transaction types: All

Clarity for notary onboarding

To better clarify within the onboarding experience, we’ve added an explainer to ensure the appropriate phone number is entered to sync notary profiles with the NNA (NX-5929).

  • Audience: All
  • User roles: Notaries
  • Availability: Default
  • Release stage: General availability
  • Transaction types: Future onboarding experiences

Keeping video front and center for Verify meetings

We believe Verify transactions need to provide a first-class experience for both client and agent. To ensure the agent feels in control and can view the recipient throughout the meeting, we’ve introduced a drawer component to keep video central even when deploying different tools (NX-5547).

  • Audience: Premium & Enterprise
  • User roles: Verify agents
  • Availability: Default
  • Release stage: General availability

Fixes

For Verify agents, it’s critical to understand what a client is doing and experiencing. Now, agents will have more updates and communication as clients move through credential analysis and decide to exit that flow or experience failures in the process (NX-5562).
