Enhancements
Pre-made business templates
When starting a new transaction, select from common Proof-generated workflows, including signature and identity verification use-cases such as Power of Attorney, affidavits, or student verification flows. Select from ready-to-use templates that pre-fill your workflow rather than starting from scratch. No configuration required: just select, review, and send. Transaction settings can be fully edited by senders (BIZ-8950).

- User Roles: All users with send and manage permissions
- Availability: On by default for all Business Pro and Pro+ customers

- Transaction Types: Applies to future transactions only; does not affect previously created or executed transactions.

Added notary signature to the cover page of journal exports for PA notaries (NX-6663).

Proof General Terms
The Proof General Terms, last updated June 19, 2026, govern all Users accessing the Platform—including Subscribers, End Users, Participants, Notary Users, and Verification Portal Users—requiring acceptance via agreement and mandating individual arbitration instead of jury trials or class actions, with detailed definitions and remedies outlined in the document.

Proof's identity verification for notarizations varies by notary commission state and transaction type, offering four methods: IAL2-compliant verification (credential analysis plus selfie comparison), multi-step verification (combining knowledge-based authentication, credential analysis, and/or selfie comparison), personal knowledge of identity (notary personally knows the signer), and credible identifying witness (a verified witness vouches for the signer).
