Enhancements

Keyboard Shortcuts Now More Visible in Document Preparation UI

The document and template preparation UI has been updated to more prominently display keyboard shortcuts on hover, making it easier for users to discover ways to accelerate document preparation.

Audience: Business, Title, and Lender (includes NST) Roles: Owners, Admins, and users with send & manage permissions with access to document and/or template preparation

Default Scheduled Notary Meeting Time Updated to 9:00 AM

The optional scheduled notary meeting time now defaults to 9:00 AM instead of 12:00 AM, better reflecting when meetings most commonly occur and reducing an extra click for users setting up transactions.

Audience: Business, Title, and Lender (includes NST) Roles: Owners, Admins, and users with send & manage permissions

Applies to Notarize and Close transaction types.

"Resend Transaction" Renamed to "Remind Signers"

The "Resend transaction" call-to-action on sent transactions has been renamed to "Remind Signers." The functionality remains the same — it sends a new transaction link to all signers who haven't yet completed the transaction.

Audience: Business, Title, and Lender Roles: Owners, Admins, and users with send & manage permissions

New Security Events API for User Audit Trail Data

A new Security Events API is now available, providing user audit trail data in a SIEM-friendly format to support security and compliance requirements. The API covers user-level security events such as authorization and access changes.

Audience: Command Center and Command Center Lite Roles: N/A (API Key)

Available by default for Command Center customers; no opt-in required. Note that event collection began in April 2026 — historical data backfills only to the start of April 2026. Not transaction-specific; applies to user-level security and audit events across the organization.

New notary_source Field in Notarization Record API Response

The Notarization Record API response now includes a notary_source field indicating whether the notary who fulfilled a transaction was routed through an In-House Notary (IHN)/Panel or the On-Demand Notary (ODN) network. This field reflects how the notary actually entered the meeting, including overflow cases where a session initially routed to an IHN/Panel notary was ultimately fulfilled via ODN.

Audience: Mortgage and Title customers using the GET /mortgage/v2/notarization_records/{id} API endpoint Roles: API integrators, Owners, and Admins managing notary compensation reconciliation

Included in all notarization record API responses automatically; no configuration required. Applies to future transactions. Historical records may not include this field depending on data availability.

Command Center Owners and Admins Can Now Deactivate Child Organizations

Command Center owners and admins can now deactivate child organizations directly. When deactivated, all users will be deactivated, active transactions will be canceled, and historical transaction data will be retained. Deactivated organizations will no longer appear in organization search tools or side navigation.

Audience: Command Center Roles: Owners and Admins

Fixes

Witnesses in ODN Sequential Signing Transactions Can Now Sign Across Separate Meetings

Witnesses in ODN transactions using sequential signing can now complete their signature designations across separate meetings, regardless of the order in which witnesses sign. Previously, the second witness was unable to sign after the first witness had already completed their designation in a separate meeting.

Audience: All customers using ODN with multi-witness transactions and sequential signing workflows Roles: ODN Notaries, Signers, and Witnesses

Applies to future transactions only.

Time Zone Validation Added to Notary Onboarding Flow

Notaries completing the Proof onboarding flow will now see a validation error if they attempt to advance without selecting a time zone, ensuring the field is completed before progressing.

Audience: Notaries completing the Proof onboarding flow Roles: ODN and IHN Notaries
