Audience: All Notaries
The short answer: Your Help Center account is created automatically within 24 hours of joining Proof as a notary. Your Proof username carries over — you just need to set a password before your first login. Once signed in, you'll have access to notary-specific articles that aren't visible to the public.
1. Log In for the First Time
Follow these steps to set your password and sign in:
- 1.Select Sign In at the upper right corner of the screen.
- 2.In the Sign in to Proof modal, select Forgot password?
- 3.Enter the email address associated with your Proof notary profile.
- 4.Select Submit and follow the instructions in the Create a password for Proof email sent to you from support@notarizesupporthelp.zendesk.com.
Didn't receive the email? Check your spam or junk folder, or make sure you're using the email address associated with your Proof notary profile.
2. Follow Categories to Stay Up to Date
Some Help Center categories allow you to follow them — when you do, you'll receive email notifications whenever a new article is published in that category.
To follow a category:
- 1.Select the category tile from the homepage or side panel.
- 2.If the category supports following, you'll see a Follow button — select it.
- 3.Choose New articles to receive notifications when new content is added.
To view the categories you're currently following, select your Avatar → Activities → Following.
You must be signed in to follow categories. Notifications are sent to the email address you use to log in.
