Create and Share Referral Campaigns for Organizations
Referral campaigns in Proof allow organizations to create and share branded, shareable referral links—either via their account or API—that direct customers to Proof's signer upload page, with customizable payment settings (signer pays or organization pays), and transactions completed through these links are independent of the organization's account unless created via API with a redirect to the organization's EasyLink.
The short answer: Referral campaigns generate shareable links to refer customers to Proof independently from your organization's account.
Read Manage referral campaigns to learn how to manage these links, and read Referral Partner Terms for full terms and details.
For information about referrals for individual Proof account holders, see Refer a friend and earn credits for notarizations.
How It Works
Referral campaigns can be created directly in your account or via the API. Campaigns created in your account automatically redirect to the Proof retail signer upload page. Campaigns created by your team appear on the Referral campaigns page.
Transactions completed with referral links are not associated with your account. If you want access to the completed transaction, create the referral via the API with a redirect to your hosted EasyLink.
Branding
Referral campaign landing pages can match your existing branding if you have custom branding set up. When you create the campaign, choose whether to use your organization's branding or Proof's default branding for the landing page.
Transaction Payment
Each referral campaign has its own settings for who pays for the transaction.
- The signer: Creates a link that allows the signer to use and pay for their own transactions. The same link can be reused until you deactivate the campaign.
- My organization: Generates a unique single-use link for every transaction to prevent your link from being reused.
