Creative Services Customer Notarization Instructions
The Creative Services Customer Notarization Instructions detail a four-step online notarization process requiring customers to upload an unsigned PDF form, verify their identity with a valid government-issued photo ID and a matching address ID, connect via live video with a commissioned notary who witnesses their signature, and complete payment before submitting the notarized document to the CSI platform, with specific acceptable forms of ID and address verification outlined.
How it works
- 1.
Upload your form
- Collect all pages of your form as a single PDF. You can fill out the form before uploading or complete it on the Proof platform. Do not sign the form before uploading; you must sign during the notary session.
- 2.
Verify your identity
- Proof will ask you a series of questions and prompt you to provide photos of a valid, government-issued ID to quickly and securely verify your identity.
- 3.
Connect with a live notary
- Proof will connect you with a commissioned notary over a live video feed. The notary will confirm your identity, witness your signature, and assist you throughout the process.
- 4.
You're finished!
- After the notary meeting, Proof will prompt for credit card payment before you can access your completed forms. You must then submit the document directly to the CSI platform.
