Export Your Notary Journal – Proof Help Center
The Proof Help Center explains how to export your notary journal, which logs all notarial acts with multiple entries per transaction if needed, by downloading either certified or non-certified PDF copies of specific or entire journal entries through your account, with certified copies requiring completion of a Journal Copy Request Details form and confirmation of legal entitlement before receiving the export link via email.
What to Expect
Your account contains your notary journal, which has a ledger of all notarial acts performed during transactions, beginning with the most recent.
Each entry row represents a seal placed per signer. If a transaction required multiple seals or had multiple signers, the journal may show multiple entries for that single transaction. Always follow your state's guidelines regarding third-party access to notary records.
You can download a PDF of:
- Specific entries or the entire journal
- Certified or non-certified journal entries
When you download a certified copy, the export is added to your journal as a copy certification with the details provided in the Journal Copy Request Details form.
