File Size and Format Requirements

Documents must be uploaded as full, digitally created PDFs (not photos or scans) saved at 100% magnification with dimensions of 8.5 x 11 inches, each file under 30MB and all files combined under 500MB, to ensure proper signature and notary placement and document clarity.

File Format

Always upload a PDF — ideally one created directly from a digital document, not a photo or scan of a printed page. This ensures your final signed copy looks correct.

  • Upload the full document: Do not upload just the signature page. The entire document is needed so signatures and notary stamps are placed correctly.
  • Export as a PDF from your word processor: Use the export or "Save As PDF" feature in tools like Google Docs, Microsoft Word, or Pages. Avoid printing and scanning, as digitally created PDFs keep text sharp and layout intact.
  • Save at actual size (100% magnification): If your PDF is saved at a reduced zoom level (e.g., 25%), signatures or text added later may appear tiny and unreadable. In Adobe Acrobat, check this via File > Properties > Initial View > Magnification and ensure it's set to 100%.

Don't upload a photo of your document. Phone photos make signatures too small and may cause your document to be rejected. Always export a PDF directly from the original file.
