iPostal1 Notarization Process and Requirements
The iPostal1 notarization process requires you to pre-fill USPS Form 1583, upload it along with two acceptable forms of unexpired photo ID for identity verification, connect via live video with a commissioned notary who will witness your signature, pay a $25 fee through Proof, download the notarized documents, and then email the completed Form 1583 and IDs to iPostal1 to finalize the process.
How it works
1. Prepare your Form 1583 for notarization
Fill out your USPS Form 1583 and upload it to Proof. You can access the form here along with personalized notes to guide you through filling out each box.
2. Provide proof of identity
Proof will ask you to upload two acceptable forms of ID (listed below) for identity verification and to validate the address on your USPS Form 1583.
3. Connect with a live notary
Proof will connect you with a commissioned notary over a live video feed. The notary will confirm your identity, witness your signature, and assist you throughout the process.
4. Submit your documents
Once your notary meeting concludes, Proof will require a credit card payment before granting access to download your completed forms. Please note that iPostal1 does not receive a copy of your finalized documents automatically. To complete the process, you must submit your notarized Form 1583 and both forms of ID to iPostal1 by emailing formsupport@ipostal1.com.
