Renée Hunter

Chief Legal Officer

As Chief Legal Officer, Renée Hunter leads the legal, government affairs, regulatory compliance, privacy, and risk management teams that enable adoption of Proof's products in all 50 states. She has spent much of her career working with legislators, regulators, and industry partners across the country to develop consistent, sound laws and regulations for online notarization and digital commerce. Renée is an active member of the American Bar Association's technology, privacy, and real property law committees and serves on the State Bar of Michigan's Unauthorized Practice of Law Committee. She is a member of Women in Identity and a charter member of L-Suite, and serves as treasurer of the board of directors of the Kantara Initiative.

James Fulgenzi

Head of Public Policy & Strategic Communications

As Head of Public Policy & Strategic Communications, James Fulgenzi oversees Proof's policy and advocacy program across identity verification, online notarization, and the future of digital commerce. He works with federal agencies, lawmakers, and national standards organizations, and sits on the boards of the Electronic Signature & Records Association (ESRA) and the Commercial Mail Receiving Agent Association (CoMRAA). James is based in New York City and spends regular time in Washington, D.C.

Joshua Rogers

Government Affairs and Public Policy Specialist

As Government Affairs and Public Policy Specialist, Joshua Rogers manages Proof's state government affairs portfolio across digital identity, remote online notarization, and fraud prevention. He works directly with state legislatures, governors' offices, and Secretaries of State, and has driven successful RON legislative and regulatory changes in states across the country.

Casey Garber

Director of Auto Policy and Industry Relations

Casey Garber serves as the Director of Auto Policy & Industry Relations at Notarize. In this role, Casey oversees the company’s auto policy strategy and manages relationships with state and federal transportation agencies, trade associations, and automotive industry partners. Before joining Notarize, Casey spent the last seven years of her career as the Manager of Vehicle Programs at the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) working with DMVs across the country. Prior to AAMVA, Casey was a regulator serving as the Administrator of the Motor Vehicle Bureau for the state of Missouri for six years.
