Renée Hunter

General Counsel

As General Counsel, Renée Hunter helps enable widespread adoption of Notarize’s products across all 50 states by leading the legal, public affairs, regulatory compliance, privacy, cybersecurity, and risk management teams. Renée sits on committees with the Mortgage Bankers Association, the American Land Title Association, the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization, the Notary Public Administrators section of the National Association of Secretaries of State, and is a charter member of TechGC. She also sits on the board of directors for the Electronic Signature and Records Association.

Dale Hardy

Senior Counsel, Government & Regulatory Affairs

Dale Hardy serves as Senior Counsel, Government & Regulatory Affairs for Notarize. In this role, Dale’s primary responsibilities include tracking, analyzing, and engaging on legislation and regulations related to Notarize’s business, including topics such as remote online notarization and electronic signatures. Prior to his tenure with Notarize, Dale worked as a non-partisan staff member of the Judiciary Committee in Kentucky’s General Assembly. There he drafted bills on a variety of topics, including criminal law, domestic relations, animal welfare, and notarization. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville’s Brandeis School of Law.

James Fulgenzi

Director, Government Affairs & Advocacy

James Fulgenzi serves as the Director of Government Affairs & Advocacy at Notarize. In this role, James works with industry and government partners across all 50 states advocating for innovations in the law that help advance the use of remote online notarization and the acceptance of remotely notarized documents. Before joining Notarize, James spent several years working in Washington, D.C., and New York at the intersection of technology and public policy. James is based in New York and travels the country on behalf of Notarize.

Casey Garber

Director of Auto Policy and Industry Relations

Casey Garber serves as the Director of Auto Policy & Industry Relations at Notarize. In this role, Casey oversees the company’s auto policy strategy and manages relationships with state and federal transportation agencies, trade associations, and automotive industry partners. Before joining Notarize, Casey spent the last seven years of her career as the Manager of Vehicle Programs at the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators (AAMVA) working with DMVs across the country. Prior to AAMVA, Casey was a regulator serving as the Administrator of the Motor Vehicle Bureau for the state of Missouri for six years.
