Manage Your Title Account’s Operating States and Underwriters
To manage your title account’s operating states and underwriters, account admins or owners must log into Proof, navigate to Settings → Organization Settings → Eligibility tab, and separately add or remove operating states and title underwriters, saving changes accordingly, while lender accounts rely on title agencies to configure these settings and should contact Proof support if issues arise.

Audience: Organizations
The short answer: Go to Settings → Organization Settings → Eligibility tab to add or remove operating states and title underwriters. Save changes for each section separately when you're done.
If you're creating a new eClosing for an address that should accept fully online closings but does not appear to be eligible, confirm that your Operating states and Title underwriters are correct.

Lender accounts (including uClose API): This article is for title agency organizations. If you're a lender, Proof sets up your supported states, and the underwriters you can choose come from the title agency on your transaction. If an underwriter you need isn't listed, ask your title agency to add it using the steps below. If a transaction won't start because of a title company or underwriter error, contact Proof support with your loan number.
Manage Operating States and Underwriters
Log in to your Proof account to complete the steps below.

Only account admins and owners can adjust Operating States and Title Underwriters. If you don't see these controls or can't save changes, ask an admin or owner on your account to make the update.
1. Open Your Organization Settings
Select Settings from the navigation panel on the left.
2. Go to the Eligibility Tab
Choose Organization Settings from the Settings menu, then select the Eligibility tab.
3. Update Your States or Underwriters
Make your changes using the available controls:
- Use the search boxes to add Operating States and/or Title Underwriters.
- Select the X next to any state or underwriter you'd like to remove.
4. Save Your Changes
Select Save Changes when you're done. Be sure to save changes for both Operating States and Title Underwriters if you made changes to both.
Summary Checklist
- Only account admins and owners can make these changes.
- Went to Settings → Organization Settings → Eligibility tab.
