Meeting Overview for Verify Agents – Proof Help Center
The article provides a detailed overview for Verify agents on using the meeting interface, including managing video feeds, utilizing various verification tools like credential and selfie analysis, handling document e-signing steps, and accessing the recipient's static risk score and dynamic identity timeline during the verification process.
Audience: Everyone
As a Verify agent, you'll use specialized tools to assess whether the person meets the requirements set by the sending organization. This article explains the meeting interface, available verification tools, and how to access the recipient's identity information during the meeting.
Meeting Anatomy
Video Feeds
Video feeds for you and the customer are in the panel on the left. Each video feed has network indicators on the bottom left and a menu button (three vertical dots) on the bottom right. Each user can mute their own microphone using the microphone button in the lower right corner of their own video feed.
Agent Tools
Your tools are displayed in the main panel and at the top of the screen. These tools may include:
- Credential analysis
- Selfie analysis
- Credit card validation
- Phone number validation
- Document e-signing
Some options may not appear if they have not been enabled by the organization. Each tool may be required or optional.
Once you start verification, select the name of the tool from the top of the screen to begin validation or view data provided.
When document e-signing is enabled for the organization, the meeting also includes a document signing step. Recipients complete their portions of the document before joining the meeting; you handle the final verification and completion steps during the session. The document is not released unless identity verification is successfully completed.
Identity Profile and Timeline
The Identity profile, Verify identity button, and Identity timeline appear in the panel on the right.
- The risk score under Identity profile in the upper right corner is pulled from the information the recipient provides before they join the meeting; it is currently static and does not change as the customer goes through the process.
- The Identity timeline updates, including the date and timestamp, as the customer completes each verification step.
Summary Checklist
- Video feeds are on the left; agent tools are in the main panel and top bar; the identity profile and timeline are on the right.
- Tools shown depend on what the sending organization has enabled — each may be required or optional.
- The risk score is static (set before the meeting); the Identity timeline updates in real time as the recipient completes each step.
- When document e-signing is enabled, the document is only released after identity verification is successfully completed.
