New Tools for Document Accuracy

The update introduces a streamlined representative signer process for easier assignment without rearranging signers, adds support for Oregon in-house notaries, and will soon launch a new "Tools" navigation for quicker access to platform features plus Field Instructions to improve document accuracy by providing clear tooltips for signers and notaries across devices.

Now Available

Streamlined Representative Signer Process

Previously, adding a representative signer to a transaction required clicking to add the representative and removing the first signer if you wanted them to sign first. Now, you can simply click "Make representative signer" in the transaction form to instantly assign signing capacities to any signer or signing group—without needing to remove or rearrange anything.

This change saves time, offers more flexibility, and makes the experience more efficient.

Oregon Support for In-House Notaries

Oregon state commissioned in-house notaries will soon be welcomed to the Proof platform. The rollout will begin with in-house notaries, with plans to extend to NSTs next.

Coming Soon

New "Tools" Navigation for Easier Access

A new Tools section is being added to the left-side navigation of the business portal to improve visibility and access to platform tools. These tools already exist but were previously hard to find. The dedicated section will make them easier to access with fewer clicks:

  • Document Templates
  • EasyLinks
  • Referral Campaigns

This update will provide quicker access to these tools, streamlining transaction creation and increasing team productivity.

Improve Document Accuracy with Field Instructions

Field Instructions are being launched to enhance document accuracy and ensure smoother execution. If a field is frequently completed incorrectly, you can now add clear, concise tooltips to guide signers and notaries, eliminating confusion and ensuring proper execution of each document section. This feature is available for signer and notary field types and works across desktop and mobile web platforms.

Signers can view instructions specific to their designated fields, while notaries will see instructions for both signer and notary fields. This added clarity will help reduce errors and ensure all fields are filled out correctly, speeding up the document completion process.

As Proof continues to innovate, the commitment remains to deliver features that save time, reduce complexity, and help users focus on what truly matters.
