Next-Level Fraud Protection, Real-Time Control, and a Smoother Signing Flow
The update introduces enhanced signer authentication via SMS or phone call for premium eSign-only flows, allows signers to upload custom signature images, enables customizable landing page messaging by transaction type for better branding, adds the ability for real estate closing teams to be included and notified in Identify workflows, and provides enterprise customers with the option to view and export detailed company directory information across child organizations.
Increased Flexibility for Signer Authentication: SMS or Phone Call
Premium customers using eSign-only flows can now allow signers to receive their one-time passcode via text message or phone call. This is particularly useful for US-based recipients who are abroad and may not have reliable SMS access. When SMS authentication is enabled, signers can choose their preferred delivery method and retry if needed, making the authentication process more resilient and user-friendly.
More Signature Flexibility for Your Signers
A new setting in Signer Settings allows signers to upload their own signature image. When enabled, signers can upload a custom image during the signing process, providing a more personalized and familiar signing experience. This feature helps meet legal, branding, or personal preference requirements and adds flexibility to signing workflows with minimal setup.
Custom Landing Page Messaging by Transaction Type
Customers can now customize the text shown on the recipient landing page for any transaction type, including RON, eSign, or other workflows. This allows for clear expectations, personalized messaging, and a more branded experience for recipients. Organizations using Command Center can manage recipient landing pages through brand profiles, supporting scalability across child organizations.
Keep Your Closing Connected with Full Access in Identify
Real estate customers can now add closing team members as transaction contacts in Identify workflows. These contacts receive notifications when Identify transactions are sent and completed, ensuring teams stay informed throughout the closing process. This feature is designed for customers who send Identify transactions prior to closing, enabling seamless collaboration with closing teams.
View and Export Enhanced Company Directory Details
Enterprise customers with multiple child organizations can now export their full company directory, including new details like status, directly from the Command Center. This simplifies auditing, referencing, and managing complex organizational structures.
Control Transaction Creation with New Domain Policy
Enterprise admins can restrict senders from creating independent transactions outside of company workflows. Once enabled, users cannot access the retail upload flow or create transactions from their Signer dashboard, ensuring all activity remains within company billing, settings, and visibility.

A New Era of Transaction Fraud Detection
A new fraud detection engine is now powering Defend, offering a smarter, more holistic approach to transaction risk scoring. The risk model incorporates behavioral signals, transaction context, live-agent feedback, network anomalies, and deepfake detection. This results in a more accurate risk score (high, medium, or low) to help customers detect fraudulent activity in real time with fewer false positives. Defend provides a comprehensive view of every transaction.
Introducing Risk Routing: Take Control Before Documents Are Released
Defend Risk Routing allows customers to automatically pause medium and high risk transactions before completion or document release. Operations teams can review flagged transactions and decide whether to proceed or cancel, helping prevent fraud before it occurs. The feature also allows temporarily marking a signer as safe, so previously cleared individuals are not delayed in future transactions. This streamlines reviews, reduces operational overhead, and maintains strong fraud controls while delivering a smoother experience for trusted signers.
Faster Transaction Creation with Recipient Autocomplete
A new recipient search feature enables faster and easier completion of the transaction creation form. As you type a recipient’s first name, last name, or email, the platform searches past recipients and displays matching results. This applies to all recipient types, including signers, CC contacts, and closing contacts. Up to 1,000 recipient records per customer are stored, including phone numbers when available, with duplicates avoided by indexing on email. Contacts can be deleted from the list at any time. This update automates repetitive steps, reduces errors, and streamlines workflows, especially for teams managing high transaction volumes.
