Print a QR Code for an Identify EasyLink
To enable customers to start Identify EasyLink transactions in-person, you can print a branded or black-and-white PDF containing a QR code by creating an Identify EasyLink in the Proof app, accessing the EasyLinks tool, selecting the desired Identify transaction’s print option, and then posting the standard letter-sized QR code printout in your office or branch for scanning.
The short answer: Print a branded PDF with a QR code for your Identify EasyLink — customers scan it in-person to start their transaction.
Post the printout in your office or branch for customers to scan the QR code with their smartphone and begin the process.
How It Works
Before printing, here are the key details about the PDF QR code feature:
- Eligible transactions: This option is only available for EasyLink Identify transactions.
- File details: The PDF file with the QR code is a standard letter size (8.5" x 11" paper) and can be downloaded or printed.
- Branding: If your organization in Proof has custom branding, your logo and brand colors appear on the PDF. If not, the PDF uses Proof branding and colors. It will still work if printed in black and white.
