Proof Hits Pause for Operation Chillax 2025 | Proof
Proof observed its fifth consecutive annual Operation Chillax from June 30 to July 4, during which the entire team unplugged from work to rest and recharge, with employees sharing diverse personal experiences such as family time, travel to cultural and scenic destinations like New Orleans, Breckenridge, and California road trips, and engaging in hobbies and celebrations.
For the fifth year in a row, Proof shut its (virtual) doors for a full week of rest, reset, and recharging—no emails, no meetings, just time to fully unplug.
Operation Chillax 2025 ran from June 30 to July 4. Some team members spent time with family. Some hit the road. Some stayed local and finally got around to that hobby they’ve been putting off. And some just caught up on sleep.
Here are just a few highlights from Chillax this year:
Jenn Willour, Notary Experience Specialist
"Took the family for a little CULTURE and HISTORY in The Big Easy! New Orleans was so much fun. French Quarter, WWII Museum, Swamp Tour and way too many beignets!"
Taylor Curtiss, Mid Market Account Executive
"Spent time with my family at home in Winthrop WA swimming in the lake, mountain bike riding, eating fresh fruits and veggies from the garden, playing pickleball, and celebrating my dad's 70th birthday."
Felicia Carnell, Director of Information Technology
"Started with my annual girls trip, this year was Breckenridge, CO! It was GORGEOUS, but this girl was not meant for high altitude (10,000+). Did you know that in almost every store in Breck, they sell o2 cans? I definitely bought one, haha. Then finishing the week with the holiday was my daughter's first pool day, and SxS ride! She loved it!"
Kaley Norton, Specialty Support Associate
"I went on a California roadtrip! My friends and I first started in Lake Tahoe to have some relaxation by the lake. We then roadtripped to San Francisco where we got to see all of the touristy things such as Ghirardelli Square, The Painted Ladies, Golden Gate Park, Pier 39, and the Golden Gate Bridge. After that, we rode along the Pacific Coast Highway to get to Los Angeles. We stopped at Big Sur, Monterey Bay, Half Moon Bay, and Morro Bay. In Los Angeles, we saw the Hollywood Sign, went to the infamous SUR (where Vanderpump Rules is filmed), visited the Grove, and got to meet up with Sionne from Proof!"
Bradley Carrion, Staff Software Engineer
"During my week off, I hiked and mountain biked in Lake Tahoe, completed a woodworking project for the first time, and spent time with Tuca, our new kitten."
Georgia Posk, People Partner
"We were lucky enough to travel to Germany, Austria, Italy and Canada for Chillax. I think everyone should visit Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany, or Bavaria in general—it was truly magical! My husband's family lives in Montreal so it was great to have a few days to spend with them by the lake before heading home."
Kelley Pidhirsky, VP of Solutions Consulting
"We surprised the kiddos with a trip to see their best friends in Bald Head Island, NC. It was a beautiful trip filled with fun family Core Memories. My entire family is incredibly grateful for the week off :)"
Jessica Howe, Content Marketing Manager
"Spent time out on the water with my family on Cape Cod—beach time, boat time, and a little bit of fishing!"
Whether it was big adventures or small recharges, the goal was the same: real time away to come back reenergized. And now that we’re back in full swing, stay tuned for new ideas, new conversations, new events…and the same commitment to building a true identity authorization network.
