Proof Welcomes New CFO, Mark Crowley
Proof has appointed Mark Crowley as its new Chief Financial Officer, bringing decades of finance leadership experience from rapidly growing SaaS companies and prior roles including CFO of Volante Technologies, with a strong background in capital raising, strategic finance, investment banking, and management consulting, complemented by an MBA from MIT Sloan and active involvement in the MIT Sloan alumni community.
Proof is proud to welcome Mark Crowley to the executive team as Chief Financial Officer. Mark is a key addition to the growing Proof executive team and brings decades of experience as a finance leader and strategic business partner to rapidly growing software companies. Mark excels at leading finance organizations at cutting-edge SaaS technology companies, and he has found that sweet spot in his new role at Proof.
Prior to joining Proof, Mark was CFO of Volante Technologies, a global provider of payments as a service (PaaS), where he raised more than $125 million in new capital over four years and managed a finance team in five countries. He previously served in finance and strategy leadership roles at Fuze, Care.com, Verizon, and Constant Contact, where he helped engineer the billion-dollar sale of that public company in 2015. Mark is known for building robust financial reporting capabilities and highly skilled finance teams.
Mark also brings experience in investment banking at Lehman Brothers and in management consulting at A.T. Kearney, where he shaped numerous high-profile deals in the automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and telecom industries. He earned his M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management as well as a B.A. in Economics and Computer Science from Brandeis University.
In addition to acting as Treasurer of the MIT Sloan Boston Alumni Board, Mark has served on the organizing committee for the annual MIT Sloan CFO Summit for several years. Mark lives in Greater Boston with his wife and two daughters.
