Reschedule a Real Estate Closing

Note: Moving the signing to a different date, time, or time zone that's after the original scheduled date may require the lender to redraw the documents.
Reschedule a transaction
- 1.Log in to your Proof account.
- 2.Select Transactions.
- 3.Find and open the transaction you'd like to reschedule.
- 4.Select Reschedule to the right of the document preview on the Summary tab.
- 5.Select the button for the type of schedule you'd like to set:
- Date window — Choose a date range during which the transaction can be completed.
- Schedule closing — Choose a specific date and time for the signer(s) to meet with a notary.
- 6.Choose the new date, time, and time zone.
- 7.Select Save changes.
Summary Checklist
- Open the transaction → Summary tab → select Reschedule.
- Choose Date window or Schedule closing, set the new date/time/timezone, and select Save changes.
- Rescheduling after the original date may require the lender to redraw documents.
