ResWare Integration Overview for Title Agents – Proof Help Center
The ResWare integration enables title agents to create and manage title-only transactions entirely within Proof—adding closing info, sending to signers, and automatically returning executed documents to ResWare—while requiring updated seed files with white text tagging and initially supporting seller-side and cash purchase transactions before piloting lender-initiated workflows.
Audience: Organizations
The ResWare integration allows title agents to send all transaction types from ResWare through Proof. Signers complete everything on the Proof platform, and executed documents automatically return to your team's ResWare instance.
Supported Transaction Types
- Title-only transactions are fully supported.
- If you are interested in sending lender-initiated transactions, contact your Proof Customer Success Manager and Solutions Engineer about piloting a deduplication workflow.
What Does the ResWare Integration Allow Title Agents to Do?
- 1.Create transactions in Proof.
- 2.Add closing info and document packages to those transactions in Proof.
- 3.Once complete, send the transaction either to the Closing Operations team (who will prep and send it to the signer), or upload documents in Proof and send the closing directly to your signers.
- 4.Executed document packages are automatically sent back to the existing ResWare file.
- 5.(Optional) Proof can push back an invoice, signer photo IDs, and/or Action Events to the file.
- 6.All without leaving ResWare!
Requirements to Start Sending Volume via the ResWare Integration
- 1.See the integration setup details in the Connecting ResWare to Proof documentation and Job Aid.
- 2.Title agents must update their seed files using white text tagging to generate correctly tagged documents. Contact Adeptive Support for help accessing and updating seed files.
- 3.When ready to begin, start by sending seller-side and cash purchase transactions that do not require lender involvement.

The guide explains that white-text tagging allows lender, title, and business organization users to embed invisible placeholders in documents for automatic field application by the Proof platform, streamlining transaction processing by eliminating manual tagging, with account-level configurations ([STANDARD] or [STANDARD - HIDDEN]) determining tag visibility and color, and provides resources like developer documentation and Adeptive Software to assist implementation.
Edit a Business Transaction – Proof Help Center
The Proof Help Center explains that organizations can edit business transactions only while they are in Sent status—editing temporarily moves the transaction to Draft without changing recipients' existing access links, and after making changes via the Transaction actions menu and confirming with Update transaction, recipients are notified unless edits are merely saved without updating; however, these steps do not apply to real estate transactions, which require a different process.
