Rotate a Document After Upload – Proof Help Center
To rotate a sideways document after uploading in Proof, first remove any placed fields, then click the rotate button (an arrow circling right) located to the right of the document—if the button is not visible, close the primary toolbar by clicking the X in the upper right—after rotating, re-place any fields as needed.

If your document is sideways after uploading, use the rotate button to fix its orientation before placing any fields.
Rotate the Document
To rotate a document after upload, click the rotate button (an arrow circling to the right) to the right of the document — before placing any fields.
Fields must be removed before you can rotate the document. If any fields are already placed, remove them first, rotate, then re-place the fields.
If you don't see the rotate button, click the X button in the upper right corner to close the primary toolbar first.
