Search and filter transactions – Proof Help Center

The Proof Help Center explains that organizations can efficiently locate specific transactions by accessing the Transactions view, selecting either their own or all team transactions, and using the search box to enter names, emails, or transaction IDs, as well as applying multiple filters such as status, transaction type, and customizable date ranges for creation or completion to narrow down results.

Audience: Organizations

The short answer: Use the search box and filter dropdowns in your Transactions view to quickly find specific transactions by name, status, type, or date.

How It Works

To access your transactions, click Transactions from the left navigation menu. The view defaults to Created by me — a list of transactions you created. Click All transactions from the left menu to find transactions created by your team.

Ways to Find Transactions

Search

Use the search box above the transactions list to type the name, email address, or transaction ID associated with the transaction you're looking for.

Note: Searching only returns results for the current view. To search all transactions — not just your own — select All transactions before searching.

Filter

Use the dropdown menus to filter transactions. Multiple filters can be applied together to narrow results.

  • Use the Status dropdown and check the box to show all transactions with the selected status(es).
  • Use the Transaction type dropdown and check the box to show transactions of the selected type(s).
  • Use Date created to select a relative timeframe, or select Custom to choose a specific date range.
  • Use Date completed to select a relative timeframe, or select Custom to choose a specific date range.

Summary Checklist

  • Click Transactions from the left navigation to open your transactions list.
  • Select All transactions to search or filter across your entire team's transactions.
  • Use the search box to find a transaction by name, email, or transaction ID.
  • Use Status, Transaction type, Date created, or Date completed filters — alone or in combination — to narrow results.
