Upgrade from Business Pro to Business Pro+ – Proof Help Center
Organizations on the Business Pro plan can immediately upgrade themselves via account settings to Business Pro+ for $199/month, gaining advanced features like custom branding, API access, advanced transaction forms, signing rules, optional in-house notaries, and optional professional services, with transaction-based pricing still applying and professional services also available separately without upgrading.
Upgrade from Business Pro to Business Pro+
Audience: Organizations
The short answer: If you're on the Business Pro plan, you can upgrade to Business Pro+ directly from your account settings — no sales call required. The upgrade is immediate, and billing starts the day you upgrade at $199/month.
Who this is for
This feature is available to Business Pro owners and admins — particularly organizations sending fewer than 25 transactions per month who need advanced capabilities without a Premium commitment.
What you get with Business Pro+
Upgrading to Business Pro+ ($199/month) unlocks the following features on top of your existing Business Pro plan:
- Custom branding — add your logo, colors, and brand name to the signer experience
- API access
- Advanced transaction form with custom fields
- Signing rules (signing order, signing groups, mixed signing)
- In-house notaries (optional) — onboard your own notaries to the platform. IHN vs. on-demand notary selection is managed separately in your Notary settings after upgrading, not during the upgrade itself.
- Professional Services (optional) — add hands-on onboarding and support for a one-time charge

How to upgrade
Log in to your Proof account to complete the steps below.
- 1.Select Settings from the left navigation menu.
- 2.Select Billing & Payment.
- 3.Select the Plan details tab.
- 4.Select Upgrade now under the Business Pro+ plan.
- 5.(Optional) Select Professional Services to add it to your plan for a one-time charge.
- 6.Enter your credit card information and confirm.
The upgrade is immediate upon payment success. Billing starts on the day of your upgrade.

Want to use in-house notaries? IHN vs. on-demand notary selection is no longer part of the upgrade — you can turn it on in your Notary settings after upgrading.
