Verify Your Domain – Proof Help Center
Verifying your domain in Proof involves claiming it in the Command Center by adding a provided TXT record to your DNS settings, waiting up to 72 hours for DNS propagation, and then confirming verification to enable security and authentication features like single sign-on and account management for your team.
The short answer: Verifying your domain proves your authority over it, allowing you to manage security settings and authentication for everyone on your team who uses that domain. It's a two-step process: claim your domain and add a TXT record to your DNS settings, then confirm verification in Command Center. DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to take effect.
Once your domain verification is complete, you can set up security and authentication methods for your domain users, including single sign-on for all users and preventing unmanaged account creation.
